Who am I?
But you can call me Jim.
Immediately with what I am writing, I am offering one of the most fundamental aspects of the path to realizing spiritual freedom–finding out who we are.
I can fill up pages of selective remembrances of Jim Tolles. I can say that I’ve been teaching since 2010. I can mention that I experienced a spiritual awakening in 2007. But the reality is that there exists no such intrinsic person as “Jim Tolles.” He’s just a bunch of ideas–an ego.
And that is true for you too.
You’re a nobody just like me!
In coming to this blog, I hope to help point you on the path to knowing who you are, and that generally involves finding out about who you are not.
That tends to be more than a little disorienting, and all kinds of ups and downs come as we engage with meaningful questions like “Who are you?”
Fortunately, I literally have hundreds of posts here to help you, and I also offer a variety of services that you can learn about in the “Services” section of this blog.
Bend, Oregon Spiritual Teacher
Most of my work is offered online. But for those who live in the beautiful high desert of Central Oregon, I offer my teaching in-person. You can learn more about my in-person offerings here:
